Sage Francis

Sage Francis

Sage Francis is many things to many people. He's a bisexual white rapper from Rhode Island. He's an Old School revivalist. He's a slam poet. He's a political pundit raging against Republicrats and Democrans. He's an underground phenomenon. He's a crybaby emo confessionalist. He's a verbose prophet who never quite hits the mark, yet who raps circles around anyone who can. He's a mindblowing talent who makes you remember how great Eminem used to be, back when every other line made you hit the rewind button over and over again.

Audio:

Slow Down Gandi

Dance Monkey

Makeshift Patriot

Hey Bobby (Reanimator Remix)(Radio Edit)

Threewrite (Remix Mikal kHill and Arit Harvanko)

I just downloaded this album from itunes. I really like his creativity. Its a nice change from fifty and gi ge gi gu g-unit! But I'm little confused about what he is talking about sometimes. The language is so figurative, it seems, that I'm not sure what the hell he is talking about. Thanks for the suggestion. Definately worth the cash.

Glad you liked it, Adam. You're right...he's very verbose and tends to rap around and around, instead of aiming for a target. But what a breath of fresh air.

If you like the latest album, you'll probably also like the Non-Prophets album "Hope." It's Sage Francis with Joe Beats on the beats and turntables.

before you post comments regarding sages sexual preference. maybe you should look deeper into his music and understand that he is going against the grain, and pushing buttons that no one has had the balls to do before

why is that relevant to his music??
